Troubleshooting and Common Solutions

Below we've included a number of super quick — and often very helpful troubleshooting tips. Please reach out to help@knapsack.cloud if you need more assistance.

Technical tips

Did you use npm instead of yarn? Knapsack requires the use of yarn, so the proper steps to get rolling should be yarn & yarn build (install and build) then yarn start to kick off the local server.
What version of node are you using? Knapsack best supports Node versions 14-16. Please run node -v to verify.
Are you on Windows? If so, are you using WSL2? If not, that could be the problem.

Working in the UI

Have you tried clearing the Application Cache? Cache invalidation is one of the hardest things in the realm of computer science. To simplify the manual process we've included a short guide here.
