Can I use Knapsack to automate pattern testing?
Knapsack provides endpoints that can be used with third-party or custom testing services to enable system-level testing, be it visual regression (VRT), functional / JavaScript testing, accessibility testing, or simply research and feedback.
A unique URL is generated for each pattern example created, including those saved in the pattern playgrounds by editors, as well as those created on the fly as users manipulate and generate pattern examples from the Cloud UI.
Many teams use the unique URLs of the saved pattern examples as the basis for testing processes that are incorporated into their build process in order to ensure system stability and performance as they iterate.
Beyond rendered pattern examples, Knapsack can provide the infrastructure to securely pull in your design system data for use in a variety of CI/CD and build pipeline workflows.
